Sikalastic WPU Waterproofing Membrane
Sikalastic WPU is a pre-mixed single-component, water-based polyurethane waterproofing membrane from sika. It is elastomeric, fibre-reinforced, and ideal for both internal and external applications such as shower recesses, bathrooms, laundries, decks, balconies, podiums, and rooftops. This Class III membrane offers high extensibility, excellent crack-bridging abilities, and UV stability, making it perfect for a wide range of surfaces like concrete, sand/cement screeds, and fibrous cement sheeting. | Consumption | 10m² per drum (1mm DFT) |
| Layer Thickness | 2x coats of 750 Micron (Wet film) to achieve 1mm DFT |
| Waiting Time to Overcoat | 2-3 hours (longer in adverse weather conditions) |
| Drying Time | Minimum 10 hours before applying finished covering |
| Cure Time | Minimum 3 days before flood testing (site conditions may vary) |
Shelf Life:
12 months from the date of manufacture, if stored properly.
Storage Conditions:
Store in a dry, weatherproof environment, protected from direct sunlight, between +5˚C and +25˚C.
