Sika FerroGard 510 Patch – Zinc Anode for Targeted Corrosion Protection

Sika FerroGard 510 Patch is a zinc-based discrete sacrificial anode installed in repaired areas of reinforced concrete structures suffering from chloride ingress or carbonation. These anodes are placed along the repair perimeter and fixed to the reinforcement before applying a concrete repair system. The anode prevents corrosion of reinforcement outside the repaired area by corroding preferentially, offering reliable protection against incipient corrosion damage.

Sika FerroGard 510 Patch is compatible with standard repair mortars, bonding primers, and reinforcement corrosion protection coatings as it is placed in the parent concrete rather than the repair mortar.

Usage

• Controls the incipient anode effect by balancing anodic and cathodic areas of reinforcement.
• Provides targeted treatment to prevent incipient corrosion in concrete repairs.
• Suitable for reinforced concrete structures such as:

Storage Conditions

• Store in original, unopened, and undamaged packaging.
• Keep in dry conditions at temperatures between +5 °C and +30 °C.
• Avoid contact with oxidizing materials.
• Open pouches only when required and reseal partially used pouches.
