Elite Crete Systems E100 Series VB5 Epoxy Vapor Barrier

E100-VB5™ is a high-solids, low-viscosity, three-component epoxy primer that eliminates outgassing and seals moisture vapor in concrete substrates. Designed to outperform standard solvent-based primers, it penetrates deep into concrete capillaries, filling surface pores for excellent adhesion and long-lasting moisture control.

• Slows hydration in new concrete, increasing strength

MIX RATIO

• Mix 1 Part A and 1 Part B thoroughly for 2 minutes using a slow-speed drill and paddle.
• Add 32 oz. / 1 L of potable water to each mixed gallon / 4 L. Ensure Part A and Part B are fully mixed before adding water.

LIMITATIONS

• Not for exterior concrete surfaces.
• Not intended as a wear coat.
• Two coats may be necessary for highly porous substrates.
• Subject to UV degradation with prolonged direct sunlight exposure.
• Not recommended for surfaces with continuous water submersion.

COVERAGE

• Concrete surface profile (CSP) of 3 (light shot blast): 250–300 sq. ft. / 23.2–27.8 sq. m per gallon / 4 L.

STORAGE

• Store in a temperature-controlled area (65° F / 18° C to 85° F / 29° C).
• Protect from freezing.
• Shelf life: 1 year from the date of manufacture
