Crommelin Enhance Colour – High Performance Tintable Sealer

Crommelin Enhance Colour is a high-performance solvent-based tintable sealer system designed to colour, seal, protect, and rejuvenate both new and old concrete and masonry surfaces. Unlike traditional paving paints that sit on the surface, Enhance Colour penetrates deep into the substrate, creating a long-lasting and durable finish.

Suitable Substrates

• Concrete (including stamped, coloured, and stencilled)
• Paving (most natural and reconstituted paving, excluding clay/brick paving)
• Stone (most medium to high porosity stone)

Surface Preparation

• Remove all contaminants using appropriate cleaning methods.
• Rinse clean with high-pressure washing.
• Ensure the substrate is completely dry before application.

Product Preparation

1. Mix Enhance Colours Tint into the original container using a paddle mixer and electric drill for 1 minute.
2. Remove 2L of Enhance Satin or Gloss and set it aside for later.
3. Add the tint to the remaining Enhance Satin or Gloss, then mix thoroughly for at least 5 minutes until the colour is uniform.
4. Apply 2L of tinted material to the surface.
5. Add the removed 2L of Enhance Satin or Gloss back into the mix and stir thoroughly.

Application Tools

• Brush, 8-10mm nap roller, or lambswool applicator
• Airless spray (800-1000 psi pressure)

Application Conditions

• Temperature range: 5°C to 35°C
• Humidity: Below 85%
• Do not apply if rain is expected within 48 hours.
• Avoid applying in hot and windy conditions.
• Best applied late morning to early afternoon.

Application Process

• Test a small area first to ensure the desired finish.
• Follow the recommended coverage rate and avoid over-application.
• Use anti-slip additive for sloping or grip-critical surfaces.
• Maintain performance by cleaning spillages immediately with water and detergent.

Coverage Rate

• 1st coat: Thin with 10% Crommelin Solvent for better penetration (6m²/L).
• 2nd coat: Apply at 6m²/L.
• Additional coats may be needed for uniform finish, depending on the surface.

Recoat & Cure Time (at 25°C)

• Recoat: 2-4 hours
• Light foot traffic: 10-12 hours
• Full cure: 7 days
• Clean all tools and equipment with Crommelin Solvent.
