Alka 112 is a two component ,100% Solid , Low cure , Food grade , good chemical resistance and cost effective. It is used in a range of Roller Applied and Self Levelling flooring systems and applications.

Alka 112 is a premium food-grade epoxy flooring designed to meet FDA hygiene standards. Its durable and chemical-resistant formula makes it ideal for food and beverage centers, commercial kitchens, and other hygiene-critical environments.

Product Details

  • Color Neutral
  • Packaging 24 Kg set (18 Kg resin, 4 Kg hardener, 2 Kg pigment)
  • Storage Store in dry conditions and away from direct sunlight. Shelf life of 12 months.
  • Pot Life 40-45 minutes at 25°C

Cure Times

  • Initial Cure 12 hours @ 25°C
  • Re-coatable 12-24 hours @ 25°C
  • Light Traffic 3 days @ 25°C
  • Full Cure 7 days @ 25°C

Consumption

Approximately 0,25–0,3 kg/m² applied as a roller coating.
Approximately 0,9–1,2 kg/m² applied as a self-smoothing wearing course or as finish locking coats on textured finishes.

Alka primer: 5–6 sqm/litre
First coat: 5–6 sqm/litre over unprimed
6–8 sqm/litre over primed or coated

Second coat: 6–8 sqm/litre Over trowelled on toppings 2–4 sqm/litre

Application Instructions
Apply Alka 112 using a brush or roller, selecting the roller based on the desired finish.

Cleaning Equipment
Clean tools with Xylene before the compound hardens. Once cured, mechanical removal is required.
